Refigured is a collection of urban photographs printed with Platinum Palladium emulsion on Arches Platine. The project began while walking in a variety of cities across the globe from 2017-2019, as a rumination on human and societal use of numbers and patterns to order, quantify, plan, control, and memorialize. Whether banal or decorative, original intentions have been altered by time, environment, other humans, light and weather. In 2020 and 2021, the project gained more personal relevance and conclusion with the global attention to ever-changing data and numbers, and confinement to studio and local walks during the COVID-19 outbreak.
